Grant Evatt – Alma Law

Chris is a legend. He inspires me and others every day and yet, he is also the most modest of men – we can all learn from that.

I had the very great privilege to act for him in his claim for personal injury damages. He is living proof that with excellent medical care, rehabilitation and sufficient compensation, anyone with a spinal cord injury can live a full and happy life after injury.

Alma Law is fully supportive of Chris and his continuing athletic ambitions.  This is despite a gentleman’s agreement that I will do the swimming leg in the Superhero Triathlon in August.  IRONMAN Hawaii here we come!

Chris

I am so thankful to Alma Law for supporting me again this season. It is such a good motivation knowing people believe I can do this. I’ve been training hard this year and have had some great personal results so far. Even better, I have been training with my two sons, Joseph aged 10 and Rupert 8, who have competed in their own competitions this season. Watching how they tackle every challenge makes them my inspiration. In fact, my whole family are hoping to compete together in the Superhero Tri, a fund raiser for Access Adventure, who are a charity enabling disabled people to take part in adventure sport. We are looking forward to Grant joining our team and seeing how he manages in a racing wheelchair!
