Why do that?
“Because the fat cat lawyers will sting me”
Some folk hold the misconception that instructing a lawyer with experience of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme is the wrong move because it comes at a cost.
On the contrary, not using a lawyer and then losing comes at far greater cost financially and personally. You wouldn’t ask the bottomless pit of social media how to change the gearbox in your Ferrari, would you?
In addition to spending hours every week giving free advice (eg. you have no remedy, move on), and signposting, I am regularly instructed in the AFCS tribunal on a contingency fee basis. This means there is no charge if I don’t improve your award or win your appeal.
If you have suffered a complex and career ending injury during your military service, find yourself a decent lawyer. How to do so is in the link here.
