Further Information

Nothing and no one has been unaffected by the Covid-19 pandemic so for our annual charitable Christmas donations we are proud to have made pledges to three very worthy beneficiaries. SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity: ‘Our support covers both regulars and reserves in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army and the Royal Air Force and their families, including anyone who has completed National Service. They are all entitled to lifelong support from SSAFA, no matter how long they have served.'  For more information about SSAFA, click the link here:  How we help The RA Association – The Gunners Charity: ‘The Royal Artillery Association was started on 26 May 1920 by the RA War Commemoration Fund to create a ‘Gunner Friend’ network organisation in every part of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth; in essence to create and foster a bond of comradeship irrespective of rank, between all who are serving or who have ever served as artillerymen and to maintain            and promote the proud traditions of ‘Ubique’ For more information about the Gunners Charity, click the link here:  Ubique! We are delighted to be able to make charitable Christmas donations this year to those two charities, who each work tirelessly on behalf of our brave Armed Forces and Veterans. Tusk - Wildlife Charity We have also this year, and next, chosen to grow our support for wildlife conservation by including Tusk within our annual charitable Christmas donations. Tusk has been an active force in African wildlife conservation for 30 years and we are proud to be able to support them for the first time this Christmas: ‘Whether tackling the rampant illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss or human-wildlife conflict, our success is rooted in the understanding that the interests of both people and wildlife are inextricably inter-twined, and that both must be served if our achievements are to last.’   To learn more about their fantastic work in Africa, click the link here: Tusk Alma Law 8th December 2020 Our founder and managing director Grant Evatt has specialised in military injury claims for two decades and he is an authority in this complex area. He served around the globe for 10 years with 29 Commando Regiment RA as an Arctic and Jungle Warfare specialist. After his military service, Grant eventually turned to the military charities for support.  SSAFA and the RA Association quickly joined forces to help him through his 2nd and 3rd years of university with a student bursary.  This meant he could afford to reduce some of his evening and weekend jobs and concentrate on his legal studies.  To this day, Grant remains a vocal supporter of SSAFA.  He volunteered as a Caseworker in the Test Valley region for 5-years and earned his stirrups as Branch Secretary of Hampshire SSAFA before stepping back from those duties in recent times.
