Q: Can I claim a War Pension or AFCS award for tinnitus?
A: No
Provided you suffer from service caused noise induced sensorineural hearing loss and you are assessed by Veterans UK to be eligible for an award, then any tinnitus will be taken into account in that award. However, tinnitus on its own will not entitle you to an award under either of the above no-fault military compensation schemes.
